Who we are
This website is run by Pit Pros Auto Services, 3230 S State St, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. Phone (734) 800-4994, emailPitprosaa@gmail.com.
Information you send us
When you use our contact or quote form we receive what you type in: your name, phone number, email address, your message and, for quotes, your vehicle details (year, make, model, mileage, license plate), the services you need and your preferred date and time. We use this only to answer you and to schedule or quote your repair. We do not sell it or use it for unrelated marketing.
Form messages are delivered to our inbox by email through our email provider, Resend. Resend processes the message only to deliver it. We keep messages for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep normal business records.
To block spam, our server briefly keeps the IP address of each form submission in memory (for about 10 minutes) to limit how many messages can be sent. It is not stored after that.
Booking appointments
The "Book an Appointment" buttons open Calendly, an outside scheduling service. Information you enter there is handled under Calendly's own privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These tools load only if you click "Accept" in our cookie banner. Until then, Google Consent Mode is set to "denied" and no analytics or advertising cookies are set. If you accept, Google may set cookies such as _ga,_gid and _gcl_*.
You can change your choice at any time with the link at the bottom of every page. If you decline after accepting, we stop the tags and delete the Google Analytics cookies we can reach. Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage under pp-consent.
Our site does not use any other tracking tools. Customer reviews and the shop video are hosted on our own server.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Like most web servers, it records technical log data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running and are kept for a limited time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us atPitprosaa@gmail.com or (734) 800-4994 and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
